I am one of those "chemist turned attorney" lawyers. I am working for the
Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, where I am drafting the
states cleanup standards regulations, leading the agency working group that
is developing a new risk assessment approach for petroleum cleanups, and am
the point of contact on EPA's new rule proposals on the RCRA Hazardous Waste
Identification Rule for Media and RCRA Corrective Action. I am also an
adjunct prof. in Environmental Law and Policy in the graduate environmental
engineering program at the local University. My current interest in this
forum is information related to prospective purchaser agreements,
institutional controls, and land use determinations.
