Regarding Charlie's posting about placing a school on
contaminated property and what to do about it:
This is a STUPID, STUPID, STUPID place to locate a school. The list of
reasons is so long I'm not even going to start. The horror stories of
placing schools on the presumably "cleaned up" sites is equally long.
The property is clearly more suitable for some other use like light
industry. Why place children unnecessarily at risk, and I assure you
there WILL be risk, and moreover WHY even get into the debate about the
degree of risk? Our children are too precious.
