[CPEO-BIF] public financing of Brownfields

I am also interested in this topic. I have researched ways in which local
governments can tap into HUD or other federal funding but it seems very
difficult if the local government is not ready to do this.  How can CDCs
and other nonprofit organizations successfully find funding?

On the same line of inquiry, why exactly are public/private developments of
Brownfields the most successful across the board?  These questions can be
answered directly to me evak@unm.edu or to the general listserve.
