The American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy & Resources, and the ABA's Commission on Opportunities for Minorities in the Profession, will hold a MINORITY LAW STUDENTS & LAWYERS SYMPOSIUM on Saturday, July 8, 3:30 - 5:30 pm, at the New York Palace Hotel, 455 Madison Ave. and 50th St., in Manhattan, as part of the ABA Annual Meeting. The program includes an overview of the practice of environmetnal, energy and resources law; a mock public hearing on environmental justice issues (using a fact pattern based on the closure of the Fresh Kills Landfill); and a discussion on finding the right job There is no charge to attend.
