[CPEO-BIF] 10/11/00 Environmental Justice/Community Caucus Meeting at Brownfie

The Center for Public Environmental Oversight, Urban Habitat Program, and
other organizations are convening the fourth annual Environmental
Justice/Community Caucus at the Brownfields 2000 in Atlantic City.  The
Caucus meeting is OPEN to anyone who wants to discuss community and
environmental justice issues pertaining to brownfields programs and projects.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other community activists and
share ideas and experiences.  Invited US EPA officials include Linda
Garczynski, Director of the Office of Special Projects and Staff and Tim
Fields, Assistant Adminstrator for the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency
Response.

The meeting will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Room
320 on Wednesday October 11, 2000 from 7pm to 8:30pm right after the ICMA
Exhibit Hall Reception.
