EPA to Host Sixth Annual Community Involvement Conference and Training

Mark your calendars for July 22–25, 2003, when the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency hosts the sixth annual Community Involvement
Conference and Training in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Every year, this
national conference brings together people from federal, tribal, state,
county, city, local and university communities, from both the U.S. and
abroad, for a variety of interactive and educational sessions
specifically designed to address the environmental challenges of the
21st century. The conference agenda includes sessions on public
participation and community involvement and educational programs
relevant to both economic and environmental interests. In addition, the
International City/County Management Association (ICMA) will
sponsor a poster session in which authors will have the opportunity
throughout the duration of the conference to present their research. For
