ECC Wins Contract for Hurricane Katrina Debris Removal 

HOUSTON, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- ECC Operating Services, Inc., based in
Houston, won a $500 million contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers
(USACE) for debris removal in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.

ECC's subcontracting plan is focused on performing an overwhelming
majority of the work using local and small businesses, including those
classified as service-disabled veterans, small HUB-zone concerns, small
disadvantaged businesses, and small women-owned businesses. ECC is
actively engaged in reaching out to the community. Firms interested in
supporting cleanup activities under this contract are encouraged to
register on the ECC Web site at http://www.ecc.net for Katrina response services.
