City expects windfall after end of cleanup project By Matt Courter Olney Daily Mail (IL) November 15, 2005 Olney City Council approved a resolution at its meeting Monday to terminate the environmental escrow account agreement, ending the environmental cleanup project at the former Roadmaster property. The city will get what is left in the account after a couple outstanding bills are paid. It will also get funds left in a Brownfields Grant account. City Attorney Larry Taylor estimates the city could receive approximately $1.1 million. The termination marks the end of a more than five-year process to clean the property and make it suitable for future development. ...
