Governor on hand for area demolition

Not even the thick, falling snow could conceal the worn facade of the
former Lynch Manufacturing/Prime Battery Plant.

The brownfield is no longer a hassle for the city of Anderson. On
Friday, nothing stood between the building and an excavator - not even
30-degree temperatures and sharp winds. 

City and state officials stood steadfast in the frigid weather to
witness history.
