Entire city could be Brownfield Redevelopment District

With the city of Belleville planning to encompass the entire city as a Brownfield Redevelopment District, projects like the proposed Belle Park condos on the Amerman Lumber Company site can revitalize former industrial areas and open up new opportunity for growth in Belleville's limited capacity for space.

Other properties, like the former DPS yard and former Lakeview printing at 70 Davis could possibly also benefit from a Brownfield clean up.
