With pollution gone, first tenant signs on at Minneapolis Business Center A new industrial center in Minneapolis has signed its first tenant. The project is being built on land cleaned of pollution. Susan Feyder Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune April 23, 2006 The Minneapolis Business Center, a new speculative industrial development under construction in Minneapolis, has signed its first tenant. Cinequip Inc., a film, video, and lighting services provider, recently signed a long-term lease for 25,000 square feet and will move in during the fourth quarter of this year. The business center is being developed by Real Estate Recycling (RER), which specializes in cleaning up and developing polluted property. The 10-acre Brooklyn Center site was unoccupied and contaminated by pesticides from a spill on a nearby property and petroleum-coated street sweepings. ...
