EPA approval pushes UD project forward Dayton Business Journal (OH) March 23, 2007The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has approved the University of Dayton's request for an "urban setting designation" for the 50 acres of land running from Brown Street to the Great Miami River. The approval, announced Friday, paves the way for redevelopment of the former NCR Corp. land, one of the community's most anticipated development projects. UD bought the land in 2005 and is working on a master plan to develop the parcel for commercial and academic uses. The land includes Building 26, which housed the codebreakers from World War II. ...
