Luzerne Intermediate Unit board returns to rebuilt Kingston building

KINGSTON - For the first time in nearly two years, the Luzerne 
Intermediate Unit 18 board met Wednesday at its Tioga Avenue 
administrative building.

The building was vacated in June 2004 after employees discovered it was 
contaminated with tricholoroethylene or TCE, a known carcinogen.

"I'd like to welcome everybody to the new building," Mike Ostrowski, 
executive director, said.
