Four new Brownfield redevelopment projects in Wayne, Eaton and Ingham
counties are expected to attract $20.6 million in investment and could
result in 382 new jobs

The Michigan Economic Development Corp. and the Michigan State Housing
Development Authority said tax credits will go to four groups to help rehab
several Brownfield developments.

The groups are Ilitch Holdings, which will rehabilitate the 10-story Detroit
Life Building in Detroit; Curis Enterprises, which wants to develop the
Woodward Place in Highland Park; Kingston Place Limited Dividend Housing
Association, which plans to construct senior housing apartments in Eaton
Rapids; and a state and local credit to clean up 3,000 square feet of
contaminated space in a 13,000-square-foot former industrial property in the
Old Town area of north Lansing.
