BUILDING CAPACITY FOR BROWNFIELDS REDEVELOPMENT in CDCs

APRIL 4, 2008 –– SAVE THE DATE

What: A regional workshop focusing on how to build capacity in CDCs to 
participate in successful redevelopment of brownfields and neighborhood 
renaissance

Where: Edward J. Bloustein School, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, 
New Jersey

When: Friday, April 4, 2008 - 9 AM - 5 PM

Who: Planners, community development professionals, intermediary 
organizations, brownfields agencies, CDCs, researchers and students from 
New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania are invited!

On April 4, 2008, the National Center for Neighborhood and Brownfields 
Redevelopment will host a regional workshop. The workshop will 
demonstrate a technical assistance program designed to build capacity in 
CDCs to engage in brownfields redevelopment and successful neighborhood 
renaissance.  Participants will learn about the program and receive 
hands-on training.  The program will offer remarks from several key 
regional leaders including a prominent keynote speaker, with time at 
breakouts and lunch to exchange ideas with colleagues and program staff.
