Dow solar project earns state tax credit By Tony Lascari Midland Daily News (MI) February 23, 2008 The Dow Chemical Co. is one step closer to making reality its plans for a solar energy project in Midland. This week the state announced it will support the initiative with a $1.7 million state brownfield tax credit. "We're looking at it as another step forward in the process of making this happen," said Dow spokeswoman Jennifer Heronema. The brownfield redevelopment plans have gained Midland City Council approval, and the state tax credit could play a role in securing the project for the Michigan Operations site in Midland. ...
