Florida Senate passes Brownfield bill South Florida Business Journal April 29, 2008 A bill to enhance and add tax credits tied to Brownfield redevelopment is headed to Gov. Charlie Crist. The bill was passed by the state Senate today and the state House Monday. It would, among other things, enhance state tax credit incentives relating to the removal, management and reuse of solid landfills or dump sites as part of their cleanup or development. It will also add a new state tax credit incentive to encourage the construction of health care facilities on Brownfield sites, and clarify certain Brownfield designation procedures. ...
