Grant to be used to renovate building eye sores WTHI TV News (Terre Haute,IN) September 4, 2008CLINTON, Ind. (WTHI) - The city of Clinton, Indiana is looking to restore a few eye sores, and hopefully turn them into businesses.
One of them is an old freight depot."During the early days it was used to house freight that came into town," Marty Shortridge of the City Council 2nd Ward said.
It currently sits on the corner with a charred roof and boarded up windows. With money from a Federal program called the Brownfield grant, it could possibly be restored at "no" cost to the taxpayer.
