Residents can voice their opinion on cleanup grant By Don Bowen Fremont Tribune (NE) October 14, 2008Fremont residents will get a chance to voice their opinions about an Environmental Protection Agency grant application at tonight's meeting of the Fremont City Council. ...In a staff report, city administrator Bob Hartwig said the public hearing is for an application for a brownfields grant to clean up a former trap shooting range at Izaak Walton park. A draft of the grant applications shows that the city is seeking $200,000 for the project to clean about a 7-acre site that is contaminated with shotgun lead. ...
