Developers eyeing Spencer's property by Tom Joyce Mount Airy News (NC) October 21, 2009Sites formerly occupied by manufacturing operations are being considered for new uses, but a developer says it's too early to make details of the project public. Two out-of-town developers are involved in a project to utilize property formerly occupied by the Spencer's Inc. textile firm in downtown Mount Airy, officials say.
