WL finds contamination near ex-CTS site Lafayette Journal & Courier (IN) November 6, 2009West Lafayette city engineers have found evidence of soil and groundwater contamination near the site of an ongoing environmental cleanup project near the intersection of Yeager Road and Cumberland Avenue, Mayor John Dennis said today. According to Dennis, lab results provided to the city show elevated levels of the chemicals perchloroethene (PCE, also referred to as tetrachloroethylene) and trichloroethene (TCE). The 2900 block of Yeager Road is the area of an Indiana Department of Environmental Management-directed cleanup at the former site of CTS Corp. ...
