Heights Residents Hit Speed Bump in Contamination Issue (VIDEO) Katherine Underwood WENY-TV News (Horseheads, NY) November 10, 2009ELMIRA HEIGHTS --- Some neighbors in Elmira Heights are dealing with possible contamination in their homes that could be dangerous. While village officials thought they were on the fast track to taking care of the problem, they've been sidelined by a government agency. ...Elmira Heights Mayor Michael Coghlin says he thinks the delay is because the EPA received an overwhelming number of calls from local residents after the public hearing.
