Stadium consultants don't come cheap By Matthew T. Hall SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE (CA) December 20, 2009Figuring out how much public money to spend on a new Chargers stadium is likely to cost $500,000 of public money. The Centre City Development Corp., San Diego's downtown redevelopment arm, is preparing to spend that much on a mix of consultants whose work over 12 to 18 months could pave the way for stadium construction. ...The downtown site eyed by the Chargers sits partially on a contaminated metropolitan bus yard.
