Weston seeks $32M to buy Harvard land by Tim McLaughlin Boston Business Journal (MA) January 14, 2010The wealthy Boston suburb of Weston plans to issue about $32 million in bonds to finance plans that include buying land from Harvard University that needs remediation for soil contamination, according to Moody's Investors Service. Moody's assigned a "Aaa" rating to $5.5 million worth of general obligation bonds and gave its highest rating on $26.2 million of general obligation-bond anticipation notes. Moody's said the notes and bonds will finance land acquisition, construction costs for a public works facility, equipment purchases and other capital needs. ...
