Turbine Airfoil Designs closed its World War II-era plant on North Cameron Street last summer. Last month, Taylor-Wharton said it would close its gas cylinder-making plant near North Cameron and Herr streets, adding 23 acres to the landscape of old industrial sites. And construction on the Capital View Commerce Center office building at Cameron and Herr - the former site of a steel foundry - remains stalled by legal and financial disputes. ...
