Developer, town due in court over housing plan BY BEN MERITT Hammonton News (NJ) MARCH 3, 2010HAMMONTON -- A developer who wants to build a 98-unit senior-citizen housing complex on West End Avenue wants a judge to establish a timeline to resolve a protracted legal battle against the town. Attorneys for the development firm -- National Institute of Brownfields Remediation -- and the municipality are scheduled to have a management conference with Superior Court Judge William Nugent on March 12 in Atlantic City. Plans call for the housing project to be built on a 6.5-acre property. A farm market, as well as the former Aggressive and Modern clothing factories, once operated on the site. ...
