New Union Township industrial park eyes first tenant

UNION TOWNSHIP — An industrial park being planned for a former mine site 
is expected to have its first tenant within the year, possibly before 
the end of 2010.

The Phoenix Business Park is being planned for Cardox Road, located off 
Route 88. Planners of the new industrial park were awarded a $140,931 
state grant by the Commonwealth Financing Authority under the Business 
in Our Sites Program.

The CFA was established as an independent agency to administer 
Pennsylvania's economic stimulus packages.
