Chrysler's Old Carco, U.S. Reach Deal on Ohio Site Editors: Michael Hytha, Fred Strasser. Bloomberg/San Francisco Chronicle July 16, 2010July 16 -- Old Carco LLC, the company liquidating assets of the former Chrysler LLC in bankruptcy, is seeking court approval to settle U.S. environmental claims at a site in Dayton, Ohio, for $500,000. The government's claims for environmental response costs and penalties at the site, which had totaled as much as $40.4 million, were resolved under an agreement filed July 14 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan. Chrysler owned and operated the site from 1937 to 2002, when it was sold to Behr Dayton Thermal Products LLC. ...
