The Madison County Corporation for Economic Development (CED) received an Auto Sector Brownfields Assessment Initiative award of $38,829 from the Indiana Brownfields Program (IBP) to facilitate brownfield site redevelopment in Elwood. The funds will be used on the former Plastech site, which produced plastic injection molded exterior automotive components and was used as a painting facility for Chrysler and General Motors. ...
