Peoples Park could be engine for development

JOHNSTOWN - When completed, Peoples Natural Gas Park will give our  
region an attractive, multiuse site that should serve as yet another  
piece in a growing downtown Johnstown revival effort.



The Johnstown Area Heritage Association on Monday announced a  
$500,000 donation by the gas company that will support efforts to  
turn a former brownfield beside Point Stadium into a venue for  
outdoor entertainment and other activities.
