Former Teacher's Aide Claims Toxins At P.S. 51 Gave Her Cancer NY1 News December 9, 2011A lawsuit has been filed against the owners of a building that once housed a toxic school. Rhonda Rivera worked as a teacher's aide at P.S. 51 in the Bronx for 19 years. According to the suit, she suffers from liver and pancreatic cancer and claims it’s because of her exposure to toxins at the school.
