Charitable clinic gets a new facility KTBS (AR) June 26, 2012Hope, Arkansas - The city of Hope, Arkansas is preparing to open a brand new facility for the Christian Charitable Clinic. City officials and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission have worked together for about six years on the project. Construction crews are in the process of turning the former Martindale Clinic into a 4,500 square foot Christian Charity Clinic. City Manager Catherine Cook worked with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) to make the building a Brownfield project. The Brownfield funds helped cleanup asbestos and lead-based paint left behind in the abandoned building. ...
