Winsted selectmen updated on brownfield remediation projects By Jason Siedzik Torrington Register Citizen (CT) December 4, 2012 WINSTED - Although public updates from consultant Arthur Bogen have been intermittent latgely, Bogen has kept tabs on the development with Winsted’s brownfield revolving loan fund and presented the Board of Selectmen with status updates on the fund’s recipients. The fund, which was created by tapping a revolving loan fund from the Environmental Protection Agency, is being used to fund remediation of several properties on Gay Street for the Winchester Housing Authority and the cleanup of land near Whiting Mills.
