DENR to conduct survey of residents near hazardous Buncombe County sites By Jake Frankel Mountain Xpress (NC) March 25, 2013 Responding to an inquiry from Buncombe County School Board member Lisa Baldwin, the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources Public Information Officer, Cathy Akroyd, reports that the agency is going to conduct a survey to determine exactly which residents have water wells within a half a mile radius of the Champion Finishing and Square D sites.
