Ambridge Regional shows potential for brownfield development Justine Coyne Pittsburgh Business Times (PA) July 12, 2013The Ambridge Regional Distribution and Manufacturing Center is being hailed as a successful brownfield development and an example for others at its 25th anniversary. Today the industrial park, which sits on 85 acres at the former Armco Steel mill, boasts 22 buildings and over 1 million feet of office, manufacturing and lab space. There's a diverse mix of tenants ranging from robotics companies to a blacksmith. "When people ask if we have a typical tenant, I always tell them we have an oil production plant across the street from the Pittsburgh Opera," the Ambridge Regional Distribution and Manufacturing Center's Gene Pash said. "While it is an industrial park, there is no typical tenant." ...
