by Susan Loyer My Central Jersey (NJ) July 24, 2013WOODBRIDGE - Officials gathered at the Keasbey Redevelopment Zone in the township’s Brownfield Development Area to announce that Phase II remediation has been completed, paving the way for the future home of a natural gas-fueled electric generation facility. "The Phase II remediation and environmental cleanup of more than 30 acres right here at a former chemical manufacturing site is a testament to continuing efforts to clean up and restore the entire Brownfield Development Area along the Raritan River in the Keasbey section of Woodbridge Township," Mayor John E. McCormac said. "The cleanup clears the path for the start-up of on-site engineering and future construction of the Competitive Power Ventures' natural gas- fueled electric generation facility power plant that we announced last July." ...
