Subject: [CPEO-BIF] House Appropriations action "zeroes" the EPA Brownfields Program

Earlier this week the House Interior and Environment Subcommittee (of the Appropriations Committee) âzeroedâ the EPA Brownfields Program, i.e. provided no funding appropriation for the EPA Brownfields program in FY 14.  The National Brownfields Coalition is coordinating a campaign to restore funding in the House Appropriations Committee, and potentially the full House, as well as the Senate Appropriations Committee.  To join the sign-on letter or to see how else you may be able to assist, please e-mail Evans Paull, ev@redevelopmenteconomics.comThis is extremely urgent -- the full Committee mark-up may be Tuesday, July 30.

UP spokesman Aaron Hunt said Tuesday his company is formulating a
strategy to do so for the California Department of Toxic Substances
Control and should be submitting it for approval within the next
