Public hearing for proposed chicken plant rescheduled for Dec. 17

At the public's request, the proposed public hearing regarding  
potential redevelopment of the former Vlasic Pickle site on Pinnacle  
Way in Dagsboro has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. on Dec. 17 at the  
Millsboro Town Hall, 322 Wilson Highway.

The original date of the hearing was Dec. 4; however members of the  
public requested a hearing at a later date to allow for more time to  
review the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental  
Control's brownfield investigation and environmental remediation plan  
for the site.
