December deadline extended to developers interested in Jackson's former Acme Industrial site By Will Forgrave Jackson Citizen Patriot (MI) October 28, 2014 JACKSON, MI – Enterprise Group officials will know in December just how interested developers are in renovating the old Acme Industrial complex in Jackson. … The property was to be the home of Armory Arts Village, but the artist community moved down the street to the former National Guard Armory and state prison in 2010 after soil contamination was found.
