Mall owner seeks brownfield funding for auto center demolition By Brian Paynter Adrian Daily Telegram (MI) January 21, 2015 ADRIAN - The new owner of the Adrian Mall has requested a funding plan from the city of Adrian that would allow it to be reimbursed for demolition work on part of the building. Dallas-based Tabani Group would use for brownfield tax increment financing (TIF) to support demolishing the former Sears Auto Center so it could proceed with about a $2.5 million redevelopment project for a new retailer.
