The district will take up the construction issue next week. Emory said the immediate priority is ensuring the nearly 1,200 students and teachers are safe and that parents feel comfortable sending their kids to school. … For the entire article, see http://www.journalnow.com/news/local/emory-recommends-testing-air-at-hanes-lowrance-as-parents-call/article_0be4c7e4-a6a9-11e4-b8e4-23d1dee29728.html See also http://www.journalnow.com/news/local/emory-changes-mind-on-site-of-new-school/article_480efd6e-a9c6-11e4-820f-631e184ca403.html?mode=jqm http://www.journalnow.com/news/local/schools-sit-on-contaminated-earth/article_2cea7cc4-a43b-11e4-b12a-e7379fc9680a.html?mode=image&photo=5 http://www.journalnow.com/news/local/teachers-told-air-quality-ok-at-hanes-lowrance-schools/article_232947d4-a5cf-11e4-9a0c-137cfbe6b06b.html http://www.journalnow.com/news/local/site-at-paisley-could-be-option-for-lowrance/article_f49e6e96-a712-5aaf-9c72-a4c97eba9b6e.html http://www.journalnow.com/opinion/editorials/editorial-school-board-must-take-quick-action-on-contamination-issue/article_a73662a4-ab16-11e4-8aa7-b324db19a60e.html -- Lenny Siegel Executive Director, Center for Public Environmental Oversight a project of the Pacific Studies Center 278-A Hope Street Mountain View, CA 94041 Voice: 650-961-8918 or 650-969-1545 Fax: 650-961-8918 LSiegel@cpeo.org http://www.cpeo.org _______________________________________________ Brownfields mailing list Brownfields@lists.cpeo.org http://lists.cpeo.org/listinfo.cgi/brownfields-cpeo.org | |
