Toxic Waste Case Goes To Inspector General, DEC WWNY TV-7 (NY) February 10, 2015 Several years ago, residents around Watertown's New York Air Brake got letters from the state. After testing for chemicals from the old Air Brake landfill, most of their homes had come up clean. But Andy Williams doesn't believe it. "Someone, who in my opinion, works for the state, doctored these results," said Williams, a former northside resident. Williams got his hands on the original data - data that showed the cancer-causing chemical T.C.E. present in the air in many homes.
