Cleanup of former Rome Cable site progresses By Amy Neff Roth Utica Observer-Dispatch (NY) February 28. 2015A draft plan for a brownfield clean up of a final portion of the 50- acre former Rome Cable property in Rome is ready. ...Once the plan is accepted and implemented, the industrially-zoned could be put back into use. "It would certainly be beneficial to the city to have that site cleaned up and be able to be developed and back on the tax rolls," said Jake DiBari, Rome’s director of community and economic development. "We're very excited about that prospect of being able to develop that property. There is interest from companies on that site now." ...
