Final report: Low levels of vapors found in schools by Arika Herron Winston-Salem Journal (NC) March 24, 2015 School officials are looking to the future after more details emerged Tuesday from the results of environmental tests conducted at the Hanes and Lowrance middle schools campus last month. The final report was presented to the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education on Tuesday by Mid-Atlantic Associates, the Raleigh-based consulting firm hired to conduct indoor-air, outdoor-air and soil vapor tests to assess potential threats from groundwater contamination under the property.
