Developer proposes large apartment complex in Fayetteville by Elizabeth Doran Syracuse Post-Standard (NY) March 31, 2015 A developer is proposing to build a large apartment complex on a former industrial site at 547 E. Genesee Street in the village of Fayetteville. The site was home to Accurate Die Casting for years, and after that housed O'Brien & Gere. The 312-unit apartment complex would is being developed by Steve Eckler, an O'Brien & Gere representative and Morgan Management. Morgan Management just developed Madison Row project in the village of Manlius. The New York State Department of Environment Conservation is reviewing an application by the developer for the Brownfield Cleanup Program. The property is classified as a brownfield in need of environmental remediation, which dates back to contamination caused by Accurate Die Casting.
