Bud Kouts Chevrolet to redevelop site on Michigan Avenue

LANSING – Feldman’s Bud Kouts Chevrolet will spend $3.5 million to redevelop its dealership on East Michigan Avenue.

The improvement is part of the transformation of a one-mile stretch running up to the city’s border with East Lansing, which includes the $980 million SkyVue development on the former Story Oldsmobile site and the $250 million mixed use Red Cedar Renaissance at the former Red Cedar Golf Course.

The dealership will demolish three older buildings and build a new 11,950-square-foot body and paint shop, according to a press release from the Lansing Economic Area Partnership. The show room and service buildings will also receive additions.
