More families offered relocation as bad water spreads underground

ADELAIDE’S groundwater contamination continues to grow with another four families offered relocation and 44 homes being tested this week for poisonous vapours.

The latest four high risk homes at Beverley are separate to four offered relocation earlier this month before tests cleared them of cancer-causing pollutants at levels requiring evacuation.

High readings in the homes in three pockets in Beverley may trigger a mass evacuation similar to Clovelly Park evacuation last year where 25 buildings face bulldozers along with two slabs.
