Taunton brownfield developed as low-income housing

TAUNTON - After years of fits and starts, a city non-profit can now take credit for converting a portion of a decades-old Weir Village eyesore into a low-income housing unit.

The Neighborhood Corporation said it now has one tenant and is looking for a second for a brand new duplex on First Street.
