Subject: [CPEO-BIF] Hillary Clinton and TCE

This article suggests that Hillary Clinton stopped fighting for protective TCE exposure standards because Dow Chemical donated to the Clinton Foundation.

Personally, Clinton is not my first choice for President, but I have seen no evidence that this is what happened. Because of several high profile vapor intrusion cases in New York State, Clinton was indeed a leader in the fight to better regulate TCE while she was in the Senate. However, in 2009, when she left the Senate to become Secretary of State, her focus turned elsewhere. But President Obama’s political appointees at EPA continued the work leading to the September 2011 TCE Toxicity Assessment and eventually the 2015 Vapor Intrusion Guides.
