By Heather Gillis Milford Daily News (MA) February 29. 2016 5:46PM Millis: Air quality testing to continue at Clyde Brown MILLIS — About 80 concerned parents attended a public forum Sunday to discuss air quality concerns at Clyde Brown Elementary School and to learn why the school was closed from Feb. 22-25. Results from initial air quality test taken on Feb. 4 showed the presence of trichloroethylene (TCE) and tetrachloroethylene (PCE) in amounts that were above health-based guidelines. TCE and PCE are solvents used to remove grease from metal parts, or as spot removers in dry cleaning and textile processes. According to a statement from Millis public schools, the air sampling was initially performed because of leaks in the roof at the school.
